Kilimanjaro - Galloping Safari https://gallopingsafari.com Thu, 11 Apr 2024 15:54:18 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.9.4 Keep Your Smartphones Aside! And Hear the Sound of Africa Callin’ You! https://gallopingsafari.com/keep-your-smartphones-aside-and-hear-the-sound-of-africa-callin-you/ Fri, 19 Feb 2021 20:33:14 +0000 https://gallopingsafari.com/?p=1600 We live in a world that is interconnected at just about every level. We have smartphones, ipads, desktops, and whatnot, which we carry just about everywhere, all the time. Our devices are the first things we see in the morning, almost like a ritual, and sleep to it at night.

While we seldom forget to recharge the batteries of these devices, do we ever think about recharging our own batteries? Cramped up in our apartments and then off to our workplaces, hooked on to our phones – it’s a routine that we need to break at regular intervals. There’s a need to break the monotony of life, and not let it become too boring, so that our mental, physical, and emotional health don’t take a toll.

Africa and Digital Detox

Just a decade or so back, children knew how to play with other children in an actual physical ground; people didn’t feel awkward to just roam about the nearby park without any headphones. But today, something as simple as that might take a good amount of planning. Good thing then, that there are places like Wolwedans Private Camp in Namibia, or remote and wild camps of Singita Serengeti, and so many similar others offered by the African landscape.

While it’s a struggle for people today to live without wifi and a 24×7 Internet connectivity, there are places to go on an adventurous safari, or just to wander about, taking a simple walk in Africa, that will make you forget your mundane life for a while, and focus on nature, reflect on life, and just feel the natural rhythm of the universe around.

It only takes one to soak in the scent and sights of Zambia’s South Luangwa region (accompanied with an armed ranger at all times); or visit Namibia’s NamibRand Reserve to firsthand experience the tranquility found in its barren mountains and vast deserts; or take their photography lessons (using an actual camera, not phone camera) for a real spin across Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp.

Take Yourself Out on a Wilderness Spin!

There is no dearth of places across this beautiful continent where one can finally do more than just check their emails, rely on text messages, or break away from the onslaught of social media. And talking of social media, there have been umpteen times, when tourists have found themselves so mesmerized by the amazing spirit and unparalleled beauty of the place, that they’ve almost forgotten to take pictures, let alone post them online!

You know how one goes on a juice detox, so that they can eat their normal food in the future without falling sick – the same way, one needs digital detox to disconnect, so they can reconnect with their regular lives. Join in on the wilderness offered by the majestic continent of Africa; it’s an opportunity matched by nothing else in this world!

Why Our Tanzanian Safaris Are Different Than Others? https://gallopingsafari.com/why-our-tanzanian-safaris-are-different-than-others/ Mon, 15 Feb 2021 21:38:23 +0000 https://gallopingsafari.com/?p=1580 Tanzania is a place where you can really feel the rhythm and energy of the wild. With Kilimanjaro gracing its landscape with its presence, Tanzania is truly the beautiful culmination of fauna and flora. It explains why Tanzania is a prime tourist destination. However, finding a reliable tourist service to help you understand Tanzania in all its glory is harder said than done! But, the whole experience becomes mesmerizing if you find yourself a safari that knows the pulse of the place.

This is where Galloping Safaris Ltd shines as a luxury tour provider. Being accustomed to the tradition and places of Kilimanjaro, Galloping Safaris Ltd will provide you with the experience of a lifetime! But that doesn’t justify the “luxury” experience that we promise to our clients.
We provide our vehicles with a no mileage restriction. That means that you will be chauffeured around the majestical plains of Tanzania as long as you want! Also, these aren’t any ordinary vehicles that we use for the sake of traveling. The vehicles that we chose to use with Tanzanian tours are the 4×4 stretched Land Cruisers.

They are equipped with modern trekking amenities like binoculars, food and snacks, bean bags, beds etc. They are rugged on the outside and spacious on the inside so that we could add more features into them like Wi-Fi and charging ports. You aren’t just “traveling”, but traveling in pure luxury!
Our Tanzanian tours are coordinated to make sure that you can enjoy Tanzania in all its glory. Our game drives will introduce you to the realm of the wild, where the animals and birds roam with no care for the world. We are well aware of the danger involved and have taken precautions and have structured our plan in such a way that the risk factor is considerably reduced. Also, our on-call medical team is available 24/7 via air, ensuring medication is available within mere minutes if they are required.

Cross off Tanzania from your travel bucket list and make memories like no other! With Galloping Safari Ltd, you can be sure of having the best travel experience across Africa. Why wait? The wild is calling!

Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the world’s most accessible high summits, a beacon for visitors from around the world. Most climbers reach the crater rim with little more than a walking stick, proper clothing and determination. And those who reach Uhuru Point, the actual summit, or Gillman’s Point on the lip of the crater, will have earned their climbing certificates.
And their memories.
Galloping Safaris is one of the few specialist companies organizing high quality Kilimanjaro climbs. Several hundred-tour operators offer Kilimanjaro climbs. However, only a handful can be considered reputable. We are a local tour company so our prices are low, some of the highest most expensive companies consider it as cheap Kilimanjaro price. Don’t be surprised if we tell you we are offering a high quality standard services than most of them. We communicate with you directly to customize your tour, which means you will not be paying commission to an overseas travel agent. Our private tours are on average 30-50% less expensive than group tours offered by many overseas tour companies.

Safety is our number one priority; we also treat our porters and guides very well as without them Kilimanjaro experience will not be the same! We are like a family!

We pledge to provide a strict standard of service on all of our climbs, including:

That’s why Galloping Safaris goes further than other companies: all our head guides are certified by internationally-recognized Sentinel Outdoor Institute (SOI) as Wilderness First Responders. That’s more than an in-house training program: it’s the highest standard of guide training on Kilimanjaro.
