Enjoy a classic Tanzanian safari experience, coupled with the opportunity to play on one of Africa’s best golf courses on this active 10-day adventure. Discover the wildlife abundance from Arusha, we journey westwards to huge, diverse Tarangire National Park, to be followed by a visit to spot pink flamingos in Lake Manyara National Park, from there, we head to the endless plains of the magnificent Serengeti holds one of the greatest concentrations of big Cats anywhere in Africa. You’ll continue to see the beautiful natural wonder of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with its incomparable crater and then end your journey with a leisurely round of golf with views of Kilimanjaro.

  • Day 01: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha.

    Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our VIP Visa Specialist will meet and welcome you to East Africa. He guides you through the entire Tanzania Visa application process and skipping long immigration queues. With Galloping Safaris, you will be escorted from arrival to departure, making your arrival to Tanzania completely worry-free. Upon exiting the airport, a Galloping Safaris representative will be holding a poster with your name who will transfer you to Arusha (30 minutes) for the Serenity retreat of Kili Villa Retreat this charming hotel has beautiful views of Mount Meru and is the ideal place to acclimatize to Africa or simply relax in the poolside gardens with a chilled drink. On cool winter evenings, get cosy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste and enjoy dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.

  • Day 02: Tarangire to Witness the massive Elephant herds and Giant Baobab trees – Evening High tea.

    Depart 08h00 from Arusha with 4x4x and drive to Tarangire National Park is a unique place and an absolutely fantastic in this time of the year. Viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the stretch of Tarangire River. More game drive until end of the day you drive to Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.

    However, it is the pure delight and sheer pleasure of luxury tents that will remain with you for years to come, and will keep you returning, if only in spirit, to this delightfully dreamlike lodge. Sunset Hill is the perfect locations to sit atop and enjoy the deep orange sunsets that often welcome in the starry skies. With food and drinks served by one of the staffs, this is truly a magical experience not to be missed.

  • Day 03: Bush Walk + Game drives – Evening high tea – Sundowner – Bush Barbecue Dinner.

    Sunrise Bush walk with a new African morning, there’s calmness to the Tarangire panorama. It seems serene and soft, a little haze rising through the 300-year old trees. But head out at this hour, and it’s eventful in the bush. Morning is the premier time of day for a game drive, a time when big cats are on the move, and big mammals are feeding with abandon. Your goal will be to explore the more remote areas of Tarangire track down the resident carnivores and seek out some of the rare antelope species in search along the river circuits. Take a break with a picnic lunch at Silale Swamp and spend the afternoon in the beautiful Kitibong regions. Return to the Camp for high tea and ready for your sundowner in hand watch as the sun swiftly sinks and your setting becomes illuminated by a magnificent log fire. Once you have settled into your surroundings let our chef introduce you to traditional Swahili fare and experience a memorable evening under the African night sky. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge.

  • Day 04: Mto wa Mbu Village Walk + Lake Manyara National Park – Game drive.

    After a hearty breakfast at Kuro camp, you’ll begin the day with a walking tour through the rural town of Mto wa Mbu, which is unique in that it’s home to more than 120 different tribal groups. Experience the colour and diversity of languages and customs as you explore the town’s banana plantations and rice fields, as well as a local brewery, a school and a carving workshop. You’ll then continue driving to Lake Manyara National Park, which centers around a large soda lake that’s fringed by long-legged flamingos. On a game drive here, you’ll get to see the park’s large population of baboons, together with giraffes, elephants, hippos, zebras and elephants. Keep an eye out for the park’s unique tree-climbing lions and enjoy the exceptional birdlife and spectacular views for which Lake Manyara is renowned. In the late afternoon, you’ll continue driving to the Escarpment Luxury Lodge where you’ll have time to freshen up before dinner is served.

  • Day 05: Olduvai George – Serengeti to see Big Cats & Large Mammals.

    Breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. A brief visit en route to Olduvai Gorge, which is often referred to as ‘The Cradle of Mankind’ and is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world.

    Today you’ll experience the iconic Serengeti National Park, which is considered one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo). It’s home to a staggering number of species, particularly during the annual Great Wildebeest Migration that traverses the park en-route to new pastures in the Maasai Mara. Depending on the time of year you’re visiting, you may get to witness this incredible natural spectacle as millions of wildebeest and zebras (followed by opportunistic predators) make this long journey. In the late afternoon, you’ll continue to the Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge where dinner will be served.

  • Day 06: Eastern Serengeti National Park – Game drive – Sundowner – Bush Barbecue Dinner.

    Early breakfast, Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park gets its name from the Maasai word Siringitu meaning endless Plain. Be amazed by the vast plains and the enormous amount of wildlife that can be seen here, and start counting the Big Five. Serengeti Seronera is well known as being home to a large number of big cats – lions, leopards and cheetahs. This does not deter the elephant, giraffe, hippo, crocodile, buffalo and impala who are also popular inhabitants of Seronera. Around midday you will stop for a break to enjoy a packed lunch and stretch your legs before ‘jumping back in your jeep’ ready for another few hours of spotting the animals in the afternoon. At the end of the day you will return to return for dinner and overnight at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge.

  • Day 07: Ngorongoro Crater Africa’s “Garden of Eden”- Sundowner – Cocktails.

    Early breakfast and today you will explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater during a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the Wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest Animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, Hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Later drive to the Lush retreat of Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp for the sundowner at the Lodge is one of its kinds. The ever-inviting fireplace pit by the campfire where the Swahili lessons with fun are offered by our staff. Dinner and overnight.   

  • Day 08: Arusha – Kilimanjaro Golf & Wildlife Estate.

    Today you’ll return to Arusha in time for lunch at Butter & Scotch Sable Squire before continuing on to the Kili Villa Retreat. It affords magnificent views of Mount Meru and the iconic peak of Mount Kilimanjaro to the north, as well as sweeping panoramas of the Maasai Steppe to the south. Take time to soak up this natural majesty before dinner is served.

  • Day 09: Full day of golf – Kilimanjaro Golf & Wildlife Estate.

    Begin the day with a hearty breakfast and ready yourself for a full day of golf on what has been listed as one of the “Top 10 best golf courses of Africa”. With carefully tended fairways and stunning views, you’ll soon understand why. Return to the Kili Villa Retreat at the end of your game, with plenty of time to relax before dinner. 

  • Day 10: Kilimanjaro Golf & Wildlife Estate – Kilimanjaro International Airport – Departure.

    Spend the morning at your leisure, perhaps with another game of golf or the opportunity to go birdwatching in the sprawling gardens of the Kili Villa. In the mid-afternoon, Private transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for check in for departure flight.
