  • Day by Day Itinerary

     

    • Day 01: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha.

      Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our VIP Visa Specialist will meet and welcome you to East Africa. He guides you through the entire Tanzania Visa application process and skipping long immigration queues. With Galloping Safaris, you will be escorted from arrival to departure, making your arrival to Tanzania completely worry-free. Upon exiting the airport, a Galloping Safaris representative will be holding a poster with your name who will transfer you to Arusha (45 minutes) for the Serenity retreat of Legendary Lodge this charming hotel has beautiful views of Mount Meru and is the ideal place to acclimatize to Africa or simply relax in the poolside gardens with a chilled drink. On cool winter evenings, get cozy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste and enjoy dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.

    • Day 02: A guided walk around Coffee plantations – Shopping Souvenir the Tanzanite Minerals + Sundowners.

      Leisure breakfast, 08: 30 AM a guided walk around one of Arusha’s coffee plantations, including a tour of the coffee tasting plant providing insight into the brewing process. Arabica and Robusta coffee are Tanzania’s largest export, and they have polished the art of coffee making to near perfection. Board your Luxury Jeep and drive the short distance to Arusha town ready for a Tanzanite Experience tour.

      Mined only in Tanzania, the beautiful blue December birthstone, known as tanzanite, is a unique souvenir of your East African adventure and a must-have in any jewellery lover’s collection. The Tanzanite Experience is a 1 to 2-hour tour that introduces the history of this magnificent mineral, including how it was discovered and first mined. You will enjoy the opportunity to see for yourself how each gem is graded and cut and then spoil yourself by purchasing a genuine, certified tanzanite piece.

      It is said that tanzanite is “1,000 times rarer than diamonds” and, found at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, is incredibly exclusive to Tanzania. Exhibiting magnificent blue and violet hues, tanzanite was first discovered in 1967. World famous New York jewellers “Tiffany & Co”, declared it “the most beautiful blue stone to be discovered in 2,000 years”, and named it Tanzanite. A must have vibrant blue gem for your be jeweled trinket box. Return back to Legendary Lodge for Hot Lunch and afternoon relaxations.

      18: 00 PM Enjoy the Sunset ready for your Sundowner set overlooking the beautiful garden, on cool winter evenings, get cozy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste and enjoy dinner at the lodge’s restaurant. Legendary Lodge.

    • Day 03: Tarangire to Witness the massive Elephant herds and Giant Baobab trees – Evening High tea. 

      07: 30 AM Departure Arusha and drive to with 4x4x and drive to Tarangire National Park is a unique place and an absolutely fantastic in this time of the year. Viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the stretch of Tarangire River. More game drive until end of the day you drive to Lemala Mpingo Ridge please join us for a welcome reception followed by cocktails drinks, dinner and overnight at on cool winter evenings, get cozy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste.  

      Mpingo Ridge makes a very elevating, highly relaxing and whatever-you-feel-like-feeling sort of place. The frisson of your private outdoor shower and tub with a view, a swim in the pool overlooking the savannah, a delectable al fresco dinner – in short, all the beautiful business of safari-ing is ready when you are.

    • Day 04: Sunrise Walking Safaris + Game drive – Sundowner + Private Dinner Under the Stars.

      Early morning walks through lovely ribbons of riverine forest, accompanied by a trained and experienced field guide. Your guide will expertly teach you how to recognize and follow various wildlife tracks. Experience the excitement of encountering and tracking animals on foot. Awaken every sense, fully embracing a world where each sound, scent and bent of grass is significant. Return for breakfast at the lodge. Go on your game drive and take a break with a picnic lunch at Silale Swamp and spend the afternoon in the beautiful Kitibong regions. Return to the Lodge for high tea and ready for your sundowner in hand watch as the sun swiftly sinks and your setting becomes illuminated by a magnificent log fire. Once you have settled into your surroundings let our chef introduce you to traditional Swahili fare and experience a memorable evening under the African night sky. Dinner and overnight at Lemala Mpingo Ridge.

       

    • Day 05: Lake Manyara National Park – Game drive – Ngorongoro Highlands -Evening High tea & Bonfires. 

      Enjoy your breakfast with best fine view and you leave the lodge with en-route game drive to Tarangire gate for exit and drive the short distance to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing to this unique park with an alkaline lake and breathtaking views. Here you will view a wide variety of wildlife and the acacia woodlands offer the best overall wildlife viewing in the park. Enjoy your picnic lunches under the Acacia trees. This habitat is favored by the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, leopards and giraffes and can claim the greatest elephant concentration in East Africa. 

      Algae thrive in the high saline content of the lake. Huge and colorful flocks of birds gather in the water to feed, including many different varieties of birds that coexist together. In fact, well over 300 different species of birds have been recorded here and later drive Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife mecca, Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp is built on the dormant volcano’s rim, with stunning views of the “lost world” below. Please join us for a welcome reception followed by cocktails drinks, dinner and overnight at on cool winter evenings, get cozy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste.  

    • Day 06: Ngorongoro Crater Game drive to see Big 5 Animals + Bush Lunch – Sundowner & Bonfires.

      Early breakfast and today you will explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater long regarded as Africa’s “Garden of Eden.” Within the crater lie grasslands, forests and a freshwater lake, inspiring a continual migration of animals. Riding in our four-wheel-drive safari vehicle, you’ll have a chance to spot Africa’s celebrated “Big Five” – buffalo, elephant, leopard, the black-maned lion and the rare black rhinoceros. Dig into a hot lunch as

      you picnic in the heart of the crater, sure to be a highlight of your African safari. Back at the Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp for the sundowner at the Lodge is one of its kinds. The ever-inviting fireplace pit by the campfire where the Swahili lessons with fun are offered by our staff. Enjoy your delicious dinner will be served at the mezzanine that offer the best fine view the crater floor. 

    • Day 07: Maasai Village & Olduvai George Visit – Serengeti National Park – Game drive – Evening High Tea.

      Breakfast, with picnic lunch’s drive to Serengeti National Park. Set off this morning to explore Oldupai Gorge, where archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the fossilized remains of some of the earliest known human species, an estimated 1.8 million years old; learn more about the site’s significance on a docent-led tour. Stop at Land of the Maasai—the iconic pastoralists of the East African savanna, known for their scarlet robes, their beadwork, and their legendary ceremonies. Pay a visit to a Maasai Manyatta, or village, where we’ll be greeted with a foot-stomping, high-jumping welcome dance. Immerse yourself in their world, learning about their customs. Meet the village elders, visit homes, and take part in a memorable cultural exchange. Continue wildlife viewing while driving the rough dirt roads across the plains and grasslands of the Serengeti. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, dinner and overnight at Four-Season Serengeti Lodge-Terrace Suite water hole view.

    • Day 08: Sunrise Ballooning over the Serengeti Plains – Game drive – Sundowner + Traditional Dance.

      06: 00 AM Lift off on an exciting hot air balloon flight as dawn breaks over the vast Serengeti grasslands, from aloft, observe wildlife in the first light of day, an African safari thrill – and enjoy another thrill upon your return where a champagne breakfast in the bush waits for you. A morning game drive on the Serengeti plains may yield sightings of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinoceros, hippos, buffalo, jackals, and gazelles. This is also one of the best places on the African Continent to see prides of lions. Around midday you will stop for a break to enjoy a packed lunch and stretch your legs before jumping back in your jeep ready for another few hours of spotting the animals in the afternoon. Return to the lodge for a special sundowner this evening before Boma dinner and traditional dancing entertainment at Four-Season Serengeti Lodge-Terrace Suite water hole view. 

    • Day 09: Flight to Zanzibar Airport + Private Transfer to Bwejuu Beach South East Coast of Zanzibar.

      Breakfast, leave the lodge and go on your final game drive keep your eyes open for any elusive wildlife that you may not have seen, transfer to Seronera Airstrip in time for flight to Zanzibar Airport departs at 11: 00 AM, Arrive Zanzibar Airport at 13: 30 PM. Meet and greet in Zanzibar with your private guide and transfer to Bwejuu Beach South East Coast of Zanzibar approximately 55 minutes’ drive and check in at Baraza Resort, enjoy your Hot delicious Lunch and afternoon at leisure. dinner and overnight at Baraza Resort & Spa (Full Board All Inclusive),Snorkeling equipment rental, kayaks, reef shoes rental.

    • Day 10: Pure Beach Relaxations at Bwejuu Beach South East Coast of Zanzibar.

      Dhahabu Bar & Lounge- open in the eve nights, it is the perfect venue for an evening cocktail before and after dinner. Alternating between buffet and table d’hote the chef’s creations for the evening can be enjoyed in this stunning setting.

      Full Day at leisure, breakfast, Lunch, dinner and overnight at Baraza Resort & Spa (Full Board All Inclusive). 

    • Day 11: Pure Beach Relaxations at Bwejuu Beach South East Coast of Zanzibar.

      Dhahabu Bar & Lounge- open in the eve nights, it is the perfect venue for an evening cocktail before and after dinner. Alternating between buffet and table d’hote the chef’s creations for the evening can be enjoyed in this stunning setting.

      Full Day at leisure, breakfast, Lunch, dinner and overnight at Baraza Resort & Spa (Full Board All Inclusive). 

    • Day 12: Private transfer to Zanzibar Airport + then homeward bound.

      Leisure breakfast, enjoy a delicious hot lunch at the Resort whether indoor or outdoor longue and read for your private transfer and fly late afternoon from Zanzibar to Dar Es Salaam, for your flight home. Allow hours for flight check-in. Note: International flights out should be booked after 9:00 PM.
