The Galloping Safari’s most in-depth exploration of Kenya and Tanzania’s great prime game parks. It is planned to circle the parks, starting and ending in Kenya. This will give you the best international airfare as well as the chance to visit the Endless plains of Central to Northern Serengeti and ending in the Mara Conservancy. Two flights are included to cut overland drive times within the longer distance.

Start drive down to the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Amboseli game Reserve where the elephant population number close to a thousand. Go on your very first game drive in the shadows of snow-capped “Kili”. Cross into Tanzania where you will head deeper into the bush Tarangire is all that typifies Africa from the heard of kudu and elephant to the mystical baobab and sausage trees. 

The it’s on to Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed volcano/caldera that is now home to a myriad of wildlife.

The Serengeti and Mara are one eco-system with the Kenya and Tanzania border dividing the areas. There are no fences and the herds wander at will. You will be awestruck by the sight of hundreds of animals as they do their annual trek finding richer feeding grounds and water. Then fly into Kenya and the Maasai-Mara as this is the perfect safari for the person passionate about wildlife.

  • Day by Day Itinerary

    • Day 01: Arrive Nairobi International Airport – Nairobi.

      Upon arrival at Nairobi International Airport with ex flight with customs/Immigration formalities. Our VIP Visa Specialist Staff will meet, greet you for assistance to clear Custom and VISA Processing and will escort your family’s and carrying all your luggage’s until you exit and at the arrival longue you be meet with your Host (Walter Tenga +255 787 529068) also on what up same number) with his team will guide you and welcome you on board the vehicle with short orientation and private transfer to the Hotel (45 minutes) for check in to Hemingway Nairobi Hotel for Dinner and all in house drinks-Deluxe Room. 

    • Day 02: Amboseli the Foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro – Game drives – Evening High Tea – Sundowner.

       

      Depart 07h30 from Nairobi with 4x4x and drive to the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Amboseli National Park for your game drive. The park is the home to large herds of elephants, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and cape Buffalo to name just a few. Amboseli is a place of stark contrast, the name meaning “salty dust” in Maasai. Amboseli, despite its sometimes dry and dusty appearance, has an endless supply of water filtered through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from Mt. Kilimanjaro’s snow melt. These underground streams converge into clear fresh water springs in the heart of the park. If you are lucky, you may get to see the shimmering dry lakebed with false mirages of populated horizons. Do not miss the dawn game drives, when the plains are golden with the new day’s sun and the predators are most active. This is truly magical time. Later drive to the Lush retreat of Tortilis Camp Amboseli for the sundowner at the Lodge is one of its kinds. The ever-inviting fireplace pit by the campfire where the Swahili lessons with fun are offered by our staff. Enjoy your delicious dinner will be served at the mezzanine that offer the best fine view the highlands and overnight.

    • Day 03: Amboseli National Park – Game drive – Afternoon High Tea – Sundowner – Bonfires.  

      Up at dawn – the Amboseli plains are golden with the new day’s sun. Head out for some game viewing to one of the five main swamp areas where elephants & hippos gather. This is also the time that the lions go on their hunts. Every turn will bring a new wildlife surprise. Herds of zebra and wildebeest are easily seen. Amboseli is also the home to Cape Buffalo, hippo, eland, giraffe, as well lion and cheetah. Return to the camp for a delicious buffet lunch and then out again for an afternoon game drive.

      Return to the camp for high tea and ready for your sundowner in hand watch as the sun swiftly sinks and your setting becomes illuminated by a magnificent log fire. Once you have settled into your surroundings let our chef introduce you to traditional Swahili fare and experience a memorable evening under the African night sky. Dinner and overnight at Tortilis Camp Amboseli.

    • Day 04: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Game drive + Private Dinner Under the Stars. 

      After breakfast in Amboseli, cross into Tanzania, clear customs/immigration formalities. Today will be one of the longest drives, but you will travel through interesting villages and scenery. Stop in Arusha for lunch at Arusha coffee lodge and then continue to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is all that symbolizes guided safaris Africa. Acacia trees, ancient baobab and sausage trees spot the landscape. Elephants can number in the hundreds, as well as large herds of Cape buffalo, all making their way to the river, end your day here with a relaxing dinner set private under the stars and fall asleep to sounds of the bush at Nimali Tarangire Camp.

    • Day 05: Tarangire National Park – Game drives – Ngorongoro Highlands -Evening High tea & Bonfires. 

      Early breakfast, today you do a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park is a unique place and an absolutely fantastic in this time of the year. Viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the stretch of Tarangire River. More game drive until end of the day you drive to Ngorongoro Highlands to the retreat of drive back to the Lush retreat of Gibbs Farm for the sundowner at the Lodge is one of its kinds. The ever-inviting fireplace pit by the campfire where the Swahili lessons with fun are offered by our staff. Enjoy your delicious dinner will be served at the mezzanine that offer the best fine view the highlands and overnight- Farm Cottage. 

    •  Day 06: Ngorongoro Crater Game drive to see Big 5 Animals + Bush Lunch – Sundowner & Bonfires.

       

      Early breakfast and today you will explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater long regarded as Africa’s “Garden of Eden.” Within the crater lie grasslands, forests and a freshwater lake, inspiring a continual migration of animals. Riding in our four-wheel-drive safari vehicle, you’ll have a chance to spot Africa’s celebrated “Big Five” – buffalo, elephant, leopard, the black-maned lion and the rare black rhinoceros. Dig into a hot lunch as

      you picnic in the heart of the crater, sure to be a highlight of your African safari. Back at the Gibbs farm for the sundowner at the Lodge is one of its kinds. The ever-inviting fireplace pit by the campfire where the Swahili lessons with fun are offered by our staff. Enjoy your delicious dinner will be served at the mezzanine that offer the best fine view over the Highlands forest.

    • Day 07: Maasai Village & Olduvai George Visit – Serengeti National Park – Game drive – Evening High Tea.

      Breakfast, with picnic lunch’s drive to Serengeti National Park. Set off this morning to explore Oldupai Gorge, where archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the fossilized remains of some of the earliest known human species, an estimated 1.8 million years old; learn more about the site’s significance on a docent-led tour. Stop at Land of the Maasai—the iconic pastoralists of the East African savanna, known for their scarlet robes, their beadwork, and their legendary ceremonies. Pay a visit to a Maasai Manyatta, or village, where we’ll be greeted with a foot-stomping, high-jumping welcome dance. Immerse yourself in their world, learning about their customs. Meet the village elders, visit homes, and take part in a memorable cultural exchange. Continue wildlife viewing while driving the rough dirt roads across the plains and grasslands of the Serengeti. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, dinner and overnight at Cherero Camp.

    • Day 08: Sunrise Ballooning over the Serengeti Plains – Game drive – Sundowner.

      06: 00 AM Lift off on an exciting hot air balloon flight as dawn breaks over the vast Serengeti grasslands, from aloft, observe wildlife in the first light of day, an African safari thrill – and enjoy another thrill upon your return where a champagne breakfast in the bush waits for you. A morning game drive on the Serengeti plains may yield sightings of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinoceros, hippos, buffalo, jackals, and gazelles. This is also one of the best places on the African Continent to see prides of lions. Around midday you will stop for a break to enjoy a packed lunch and stretch your legs before jumping back in your jeep ready for another few hours of spotting the animals in the afternoon. Return to the camp for a special sundowner this evening before Boma dinner and traditional dancing entertainment at Cherero Camp.

    • Day 09: In Search for the Great Migration & Predators – Evening High Tea + Private Dinner Under the Stars. 

      Leisure breakfast, morning day safaris are the best way to see the full range of what this magnificent park has to offer. Each excursion departs at around 09.00 am, with your 4×4 fully equipped to cross the Serengeti in search of game. The early mornings are relatively cool, but by midday it can become very hot indeed and sun-block lotion and hats are advised. Lunch is served under the shade of an Acacia tree as you take a break from scanning the horizons, and realize that all is well with the world. Yet it is often in the lesser-known corners of the bush that we spot the highlights of your visit, such as a kill, amorous liaison. Return for sundowner and cocktails, campfire is ready for you, enjoy a candlelight bush dinner served under the shade of an Acacia tree while enjoy the stars and overnight at Cherero Camp.

    • Day 10: Flight to Masai Mara Game Reserve – High Tea and Afternoon Game drive.

      After a sumptuous breakfast, you will transfer to Seronera Airstrip for a schedule flight to Mara Ol Seki depart at 08: 30 Am, you will fly via Tarime Tanzania/Kenya Boarder with Customs/Immigration formalities at Tarime. (Here our Crew will assist you with all process for Immigration/Customs Formalities here very smooth). You will arrive at Mara Ol Seki Airstrip at 11: 30 AM. You’ll be picked up at the airstrip by Camp guide and the game drive begins immediately en-route to the camp for Lunch located at private conservancy adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve, in time for high tea. After tea, continue exploring the conservancy with your guide, returning to camp for dinner and overnight at Naboishu Camp.

    • Day 11: Naboishu Conservancy Game drive – Sundowner + Evening high tea & Bonfires.

      Today is an opportunity for a full day outing to explore the further reaches of the Conservancy or, if during the migration season, the Reserve. Breakfast will be served in camp before setting off with your guide into new terrain. On the menu today, you may encounter a cheetah stalk an unsuspecting Thompson gazelle, watch hippo bathe alongside crocodile in the river or watch a territorial wildebeest chase off his rivals. Pull up at a shaded spot and watch as your picnic lunch unfolds before you. In the afternoon continue traversing the magnificent terrain and witness the never-ending interactions on the plains. You may finish the day watching the fascinating interactions of one of our lion prides with lionesses lolling about, cubs playing and the males emitting thunderous roars. Naboishu Camp.

    • Day 12: Farewell & Kwa Heri – Flight to Wilson Airport + Private Transfer to Nairobi Airport- Departure. 

      As this is your final day, you wouldn’t want to miss the sun rise from the foot of your bed. For one last game drive down into the Escarpment, leave camp as early as possible in order to be back in time for breakfast. After a delicious breakfast, slowly begin to ready yourself for your departure. Saying goodbye to the Naboishu Camp family always takes longer than expected because as we like to say. You will transfer by road to the Mara Ol Seki Airstrip for your scheduled flight depart at 10: 30 Am, arrive Nairobi Wilson Airport at 11: 50 AM. You will be meet and greet with your Private Guide and you on board the vehicle with short orientation and private transfer to the Hotel for Lunch at Giraffe Center and proceed to explore the City of Nairobi for few hours before a private transfer to Nairobi International Airport in time for check for departure flight.
