  • Day by Day Itinerary

      • Day 01: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha.

        Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our VIP Visa Specialist will meet and welcome you to East Africa. He guides you through the entire Tanzania Visa application process and skipping long immigration queues. With Galloping Safaris, you will be escorted from arrival to departure, making your arrival to Tanzania completely worry-free. Upon exiting the airport, a Galloping Safaris representative will be holding a poster with your name who will transfer you to Arusha (45 minutes) for the Serenity retreat of Arusha Coffee Lodge this charming hotel has beautiful views of Mount Meru and is the ideal place to acclimatize to Africa or simply relax in the poolside gardens with a chilled drink. On cool winter evenings, get cozy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste and enjoy dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.

         

      • Day 02: Tarangire to Witness the massive Elephant herds and Giant Baobab trees – Evening High tea. 

        08: 00 AM Departure Arusha and drive to with 4x4x and drive to Tarangire National Park is a unique place and an absolutely fantastic in this time of the year. Viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the stretch of Tarangire River. More game drive until end of the day you drive to Nimali Tarangire Camp please join us for a welcome reception followed by cocktails drinks, dinner and overnight at on cool winter evenings, get cozy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste.  

      • Day 03: Sunrise Walking Safaris + Game drive – Sundowner + Private Dinner Under the Stars.

        Early morning walks through lovely ribbons of riverine forest, accompanied by a trained and experienced field guide. Your guide will expertly teach you how to recognize and follow various wildlife tracks. Experience the excitement of encountering and tracking animals on foot. Awaken every sense, fully embracing a world where each sound, scent and bent of grass is significant. Return for breakfast at the lodge. Go on your game drive and take a break with a picnic lunch at Silale Swamp and spend the afternoon in the beautiful Kitibong regions. Return to the Lodge for high tea and ready for your sundowner in hand watch as the sun swiftly sinks and your setting becomes illuminated by a magnificent log fire. Once you have settled into your surroundings let our chef introduce you to traditional Swahili fare and experience a memorable evening under the African night sky. Dinner and overnight at Nimali Tarangire Camp.

      • Day 04: Lake Manyara National Park – Game drive – Ngorongoro Highlands -Evening High tea & Bonfires. 

        Enjoy your breakfast with best fine view and you leave the lodge with en-route game drive to Tarangire gate for exit and drive the short distance to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing to this unique park with an alkaline lake and breathtaking views. Here you will view a wide variety of wildlife and the acacia woodlands offer the best overall wildlife viewing in the park. Enjoy your picnic lunches under the Acacia trees. This habitat is favored by the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, leopards and giraffes and can claim the greatest elephant concentration in East Africa.

        Algae thrive in the high saline content of the lake. Huge and colorful flocks of birds gather in the water to feed, including many different varieties of birds that coexist together. In fact, well over 300 different species of birds have been recorded here and later drive Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife mecca, Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp Please join us for a welcome reception followed by cocktails drinks, dinner and overnight at on cool winter evenings, get cozy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste.  

      • Day 05: Ngorongoro Crater Game drive to see Big 5 Animals + Bush Lunch – Sundowner & Bonfires.

        Early breakfast and today you will explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater long regarded as Africa’s “Garden of Eden.” Within the crater lie grasslands, forests and a freshwater lake, inspiring a continual migration of animals. Riding in our four-wheel-drive safari vehicle, you’ll have a chance to spot Africa’s celebrated “Big Five” – buffalo, elephant, leopard, the black-maned lion and the rare black rhinoceros. Dig into a hot lunch as

        you picnic in the heart of the crater, sure to be a highlight of your African safari. Back at the Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp for the sundowner at the Lodge is one of its kinds. The ever-inviting fireplace pit by the campfire where the Swahili lessons with fun are offered by our staff. Enjoy your delicious dinner will be served at the mezzanine that offer the best fine view over the Highlands forest.

      • Day 06: Maasai Village & Olduvai George Visit – Serengeti National Park – Game drive – Evening High Tea.Breakfast, with picnic lunch’s drive to Serengeti National Park. Set off this morning to explore Oldupai Gorge, where archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the fossilized remains of some of the earliest known human species, an estimated 1.8 million years old; learn more about the site’s significance on a docent-led tour. Stop at Land of the Maasai—the iconic pastoralists of the East African savanna, known for their scarlet robes, their beadwork, and their legendary ceremonies. Pay a visit to a Maasai Manyatta, or village, where we’ll be greeted with a foot-stomping, high-jumping welcome dance. Immerse yourself in their world, learning about their customs. Meet the village elders, visit homes, and take part in a memorable cultural exchange. Continue wildlife viewing while driving the rough dirt roads across the plains and grasslands of the Serengeti. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, dinner and overnight at Nimali Serengeti Camp.
      • Day 07: Sunrise Ballooning over the Serengeti Plains – Game drive – Sundowner + Traditional Dance.

        06: 00 AM Lift off on an exciting hot air balloon flight as dawn breaks over the vast Serengeti grasslands, from aloft, observe wildlife in the first light of day, an African safari thrill – and enjoy another thrill upon your return where a champagne breakfast in the bush waits for you. A morning game drive on the Serengeti plains may yield sightings of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinoceros, hippos, buffalo, jackals, and gazelles. This is also one of the best places on the African Continent to see prides of lions. Around midday you will stop for a break to enjoy a packed lunch and stretch your legs before jumping back in your jeep ready for another few hours of spotting the animals in the afternoon. Return to the lodge for a special sundowner this evening before Boma dinner and traditional dancing entertainment at Nimali Serengeti Camp.

      • Day 08: Remote Eastern Corridor Game drive – Game drive – Sundowner + Bush Dinner Under the Stars. 

        Leisure breakfast, morning day safaris are the best way to see the full range of what this magnificent park has to offer. Each excursion departs at around 09.00 am, with your 4×4 fully equipped to cross the Serengeti in search of game. The early mornings are relatively cool, but by midday it can become very hot indeed and sun-block lotion and hats are advised. Lunch is served under the shade of an Acacia tree as you take a break from scanning the horizons, and realize that all is well with the world. Yet it is often in the lesser-known corners of the bush that we spot the highlights of your visit, such as a kill, amorous liaison. Return for sundowner and cocktails, campfire is ready for you, enjoy a candlelight bush dinner served under the shade of an Acacia tree while enjoy the stars and overnight at Nimali Serengeti Camp. 

         

      • Day 09: Flight to Dar Airport + Connect with Flight to Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport.

        Breakfast, leave the lodge and go on your final game drive keep your eyes open for any elusive wildlife that you may not have seen, transfer to Seronera Airstrip in time for flight to Dar Airport departs at 11: 00 AM, and arrive Dar International Airport at 13: 20 PM. Here you will be assisted with our representative at the Airport longue waiting for you and check in with flight to Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport depart Dar Airport at 15: 35 PM, arrive Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at 18: 10 PM. You will meet and greet with our guide and private transfer the short distance to Kempton Park 5 minutes’ drive for you to check in at Intercontinental Johannesburg Hotel for overnight on Bed & Breakfast.

      • Day 10: Flight to Victoria Falls Airport + Zambezi Sunset Cruise.

        Breakfast, check out and you will be pick up with your private Guide and private short transfer back to Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport in time check in for domestic flight to Victoria Falls. South African Airways depart at 10: 50 AM, arrive Victoria falls Airport at 12: 30 PM.

        You will be meet and greet with our private Guide at the Airport on Zimbabwe-side of the falls and transfer for a sightseeing tour to check in at Victoria Falls River Lodge for late Lunch.

        After an evening Zambezi sunset dinner cruise, you will retire to your luxury tented suite at the Victoria Falls River Lodge.

      • Day 11: Tour of the Victoria Falls to an Elephant-back safari to a Helicopter Scenic – Sundowner.

        Breakfast, board your Helicopter ready to take full advantage of majestic views of the falls, the mighty Zambezi, and the diverse wildlife of this unique area with a once in a lifetime Helicopter ride. Afternoon admire stately giraffe as they effortlessly weave their way through spikes acacia thicket- stopping to enjoy the phenomenal sunset with sun-downers and a variety of scrumptious snacks – before returning to Camp for dinner and overnight at Victoria Falls River Lodge.

      • Day 12: Flight to Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport + then to Cape Town – South Africa. 

        Leisure breakfast, enjoy the best fine view of the mighty Zambezi River Hippos and Crocodiles grunting. Private transfer to Victoria Falls Airport in time for check in for domestic flight Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport you board economy Class depart at 13: 05 PM, arrive at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at 14: 45 PM and connect with flight to Cape Town.

        Touch down in Cape Town, South Africa! Once through customs and immigration you’ll receive a warm VIP Welcome from Galloping Safaris host. Most international flights arrive in the evening, you will be escorted directly to your hotel and assisted with check-in. Cape Town is a fabulously diverse and vibrant city, from its beautiful natural scenery to its colorful Cape Malay arts district. With Table Mountain rising behind the city skyline, Cape Town is undeniably one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is surrounded by verdant valleys, magnificent coastlines and stunning granite mountains.

        The city is abundantly endowed with rich historical “Old World” ambience, heightened by Victorian buildings, cobble-stoned squares, mosques, and Cape Dutch architecture. Your will overnight at The Bay HotelSea View room that offer the best fine views of the ocean on Bed & Breakfast. 

      • Day 13: Table Bay – City Tour – Cape Town – South Africa.

        This morning your introduction to the Cape region will be from the top of Table Mountain. Ascend via rotating cable car for views of the city, coast, surrounding mountains and across the water to historic Robben Island. Discover Cape Town up-close on your private tour with expert guide. Each city tour is designed to your interest but top sites include the colorful Cape Malay art district, Green market Squire, public buildings, House of Parliament, City Hall, and The Cape Castle.

        Galloping Safaris Concierge Service will be more than happy to assist in making dinner recommendations and reservations. Top restaurants require reservations with deposit months in advance. Later return back to your hotel for overnight at The Bay Hotel on Sea view Room on Bed & Breakfast.

      • Day 14: Cape Peninsula & Historic Town – Penguin Beach, Stellenbosch & Wine Enthusiast Tour.

        Your private guide will pick you up after a leisurely breakfast for a half day’s tour of the Cape Peninsula. This is the most spectacular coastal drives in South Africa. Granite peaks, spectacular bays and charming coastal villages will highlight today’s sites.

        Travel over Chapman’s Peak, stopping at the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. Visit Boulders and Foxy Beach, the home of African penguins. Head though charming fishing villages stopping for a sea side lunch and then afternoon visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens during blooming season and Franchhoek featuring the wine country. Your professional guide roaming through the regal granite peaks, small towns and wine estates. The area is dotted with cape Dutch architecture. Stops will be made as you please at art galleries, for wine or brandy tastings, time to stroll through the historic towns.

        South Africa has many indigenous species such as the magnificent protea, orchids and the African Daisy.

        Later return back to your hotel for overnight at The Bay Hotel on Sea view Room on Bed & Breakfast.

      • Day 15: Flight to Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport + then homeward bound. 

        Leisure breakfast, enjoy the best fine view of the sea side.  Private transfer to Cape Town Airport in time for check in for domestic flight to Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport you board economy Class depart at 12: 05 PM, arrive at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at 13: 20 PM and check in for homeward bound flight. Note:  Allow 3½ hours for flight check-in.
