Luxury safaris are the highest standard in safaris. From Arusha, we fly to see the beautiful natural wonder of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with its incomparable crater. From there, we head to the endless plains of the magnificent Serengeti, where we are lucky enough to have extended time, before departure.

Accommodations are in luxury hotels, permanent luxury tented camps or the top range of game lodges. The safaris generally include light aircraft transfers between camps/lodges to avoid lengthy road transfers.

• Day by Day Itinerary

   

  • Day 01: Flight to Lake Manyara Airstrip – Ngorongoro Crater – Game drive – Serengeti NP.

    06h30 AM pick up and transfer the short distance to Arusha Airport in time for flight to Manyara Airstrip at 08h00 and arrive Manyara Airstrip at 08h25 AM. Met by your private guide and drive to Ngorongoro Crater (45- minutes) for half day tour the Crater during a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Leave the Crater and proceed to Serengeti for dinner and overnight at Four Season Serengeti Lodge-Horizon room upper level with a view the watering hole that is close to the lobby. 

  • Day 02: Sunrise Ballooning over the Serengeti Plains – Game drive – Sundowner + Traditional Dance.

    06: 00 AM Lift off on an exciting hot air balloon flight as dawn breaks over the vast Serengeti grasslands, from aloft, observe wildlife in the first light of day, an African safari thrill – and enjoy another thrill upon your return where a champagne breakfast in the bush waits for you. A morning game drive on the Serengeti plains may yield sightings of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinoceros, hippos, buffalo, jackals, and gazelles. This is also one of the best places on the African Continent to see prides of lions. Around midday you will stop for a break to enjoy a packed lunch and stretch your legs before jumping back in your jeep ready for another few hours of spotting the animals in the afternoon. Return to the lodge for a special sundowner this evening before Boma dinner and traditional dancing entertainment at Four- Season Serengeti Lodge-Horizon room water hole view.

  • Day 03: In Search of the Great Migration Northern or Southern Serengeti.

    Early breakfast, today you have a chance to visit the Northern Mara River or Southern Plains is the best way to see the full range of what this magnificent park has to offer. Each excursion departs at around 6.30 am, with your 4×4 fully equipped to cross the Serengeti in search of game. Lunch is served under the shade of an Acacia tree as you take a break from scanning the horizons, and realize that all is well with the world.

    One of nature’s great occasions is the annual crossing of the Mara river or the gnus Calving season by migrating wildebeest. Yet it is often in the lesser-known corners of the bush that we spot the highlights of your visit, such as a kill, amorous liaison, or lesser-known creature. Return to the lodge for a special sundowner this evening before Boma dinner and traditional dancing entertainment at Four-Season Serengeti Lodge-Horizon room water hole view.

  • Day 04: Flight to Arusha Airport – Private Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport- Departure. 

    Early breakfast, check out your room and today is your final morning in Serengeti for an en-route game drive keep your open for any number of cat family or mammals that may turn up, while transfer to Seronera Airstrip for flight to Arusha Airport departs at 11: 00 AM, and arrive at 12: 15 PM. On arrival Arusha you will be meet and greet with Walter and his team again short drive to Butler & Scotch for a farewell delicious Lunch, today you have variety of Vegetables, Chicken, Beef Barbecue, brown rice, with Local beers & Wine to have more African touch. Later board your Vehicle and private transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for check in for departure flight. Allow 2½ hours for flight check-in.
