Day-By-Day tour

  • Day 01: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha.

    Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our VIP Visa Specialist will meet and welcome you to East Africa. He guides you through the entire Tanzania Visa application process and skipping long immigration queues. With Galloping Safaris, you will be escorted from arrival to departure, making your arrival to Tanzania completely worry-free. Upon exiting the airport, a Galloping Safaris representative will be holding a poster with your name who will transfer you to Arusha (45 minutes) for the Serenity retreat of Lake Duluti Lodge this charming hotel has beautiful views of Mount Meru and is the ideal place to acclimatize to Africa or simply relax in the poolside gardens with a chilled drink. On cool winter evenings, get cozy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste and enjoy dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.

  • Day 02: Tarangire to Witness the massive Elephant herds and Giant Baobab trees – Evening High tea.

    08: 00 AM Departure Arusha and drive to with 4x4x and drive to Tarangire National Park is a unique place and an absolutely fantastic in this time of the year. Viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the stretch of Tarangire River. More game drive until end of the day you drive to Lemala Mpingo Ridge please join us for a welcome reception followed by cocktails drinks, dinner and overnight at on cool winter evenings, get cozy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste

    Mpingo Ridge makes a very elevating, highly relaxing and whatever-you-feel-like-feeling sort of place. The frisson of your private outdoor shower and tub with a view, a swim in the pool overlooking the savannah, a delectable al fresco dinner – in short, all the beautiful business of safari is ready when you are.

  • Day 03: Sunrise Walking Safaris + Game drive – Sundowner + Private Dinner Under the Stars.

    Early morning walks through lovely ribbons of riverine forest, accompanied by a trained and experienced field guide. Your guide will expertly teach you how to recognize and follow various wildlife tracks. Experience the excitement of encountering and tracking animals on foot. Awaken every sense, fully embracing a world where each sound, scent and bent of grass is significant. Return for breakfast at the lodge. Go on your game drive and take a break with a picnic lunch at Silale Swamp and spend the afternoon in the beautiful Kitibong regions. Return to the Lodge for high tea and ready for your sundowner in hand watch as the sun swiftly sinks and your setting becomes illuminated by a magnificent log fire. Once you have settled into your surroundings let our chef introduce you to traditional Swahili fare and experience a memorable evening under the African night sky. Dinner and overnight at Lemala Mpingo Ridge.

  • Day 04: Lake Manyara National Park – Game drive – Ngorongoro Highlands -Evening High tea & Bonfires.

    Enjoy your breakfast with best fine view and you leave the lodge with en-route game drive to Tarangire gate for exit and drive the short distance to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing to this unique park with an alkaline lake and breathtaking views. Here you will view a wide variety of wildlife and the acacia woodlands offer the best overall wildlife viewing in the park. Enjoy your picnic lunches under the Acacia trees. This habitat is favored by the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, leopards and giraffes and can claim the greatest elephant concentration in East Africa.

    Algae thrive in the high saline content of the lake. Huge and colorful flocks of birds gather in the water to feed, including many different varieties of birds that coexist together. In fact, well over 300 different species of birds have been recorded here and later drive Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife mecca, Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge. Please join us for a welcome reception followed by cocktails drinks, dinner and overnight at on cool winter evenings, get cozy next to a fireplace and sip one of the best coffees you will ever taste.   

  • Day 05: Ngorongoro Crater Game drive to see Big 5 Animals + Bush Lunch – Sundowner & Bonfires.

    Early breakfast and today you will explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater long regarded as Africa’s “Garden of Eden.” Within the crater lie grasslands, forests and a freshwater lake, inspiring a continual migration of animals. Riding in our four-wheel-drive safari vehicle, you’ll have a chance to spot Africa’s celebrated “Big Five” – buffalo, elephant, leopard, the black-maned lion and the rare black rhinoceros. Dig into a hot lunch as you picnic in the heart of the crater, sure to be a highlight of your African safari. Back at the Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge for the sundowner at the Lodge is one of its kinds. The ever-inviting fireplace pit by the campfire where the Swahili lessons with fun are offered by our staff. Enjoy your delicious dinner will be served at the mezzanine that offer the best fine view over the Highlands forest.

  • Day 06: Maasai Village & Olduvai George Visit – Serengeti National Park – Game drive – Evening High Tea.

    Breakfast, with picnic lunch’s drive to Serengeti National Park. Set off this morning to explore Oldupai Gorge, where archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the fossilized remains of some of the earliest known human species, an estimated 1.8 million years old; learn more about the site’s significance on a docent-led tour. Stop at Land of the Maasai—the iconic pastoralists of the East African savanna, known for their scarlet robes, their beadwork, and their legendary ceremonies. Pay a visit to a Maasai Manyatta, or village, where we’ll be greeted with a foot-stomping, high-jumping welcome dance. Immerse yourself in their world, learning about their customs. Meet the village elders, visit homes, and take part in a memorable cultural exchange. Continue wildlife viewing while driving the rough dirt roads across the plains and grasslands of the Serengeti. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, dinner and overnight at Four-Season Serengeti Lodge-Horizon room water hole view.

  • Day 07: Full Day Photographic Safaris Search for the Big Cats – Sundowner + Traditional Dance.

    Early Breakfast, Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park gets its name from the Maasai word Siringitu meaning endless Plain. Be amazed by the vast plains and the enormous amount of wildlife that can be seen here, and start counting the Big Five. Serengeti Seronera is well known as being home to a large number of big cats- lions, leopards and cheetahs. This does not deter the elephant, giraffe, hippo, crocodile, buffalo and impala who are also popular inhabitants of Seronera. Around midday you will stop for a break to enjoy a packed lunch and stretch your legs before jumping back in your jeep ready for another few hours of spotting the animals in the afternoon. At the end of the day you will return to the lodge for a special sundowner this evening before Boma dinner and traditional dancing entertainment at Four- Four-Season Serengeti Lodge-Horizon room water hole view.

  • Day 08: Remote Northern Corridor – Bush Lunch – Game drive – Cocktails – High tea & Bonfires.

    Early breakfast, today we start with another game drive through the Northern Serengeti and head to the Mara River, time to watch the wildebeest migration as the dominated by the Mara River, groaning with crocs and hippos, this area is great for elephant, big herds buffalo, lion, cheetah as well as leopard in the many kopjes that make this landscape so distinctive. Also look out for small Oribi which thrives in this area, but is otherwise extremely scarce in northern Tanzania generally. Sunset game drives to and Beyond Serengeti Under canvas Camp for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 09: In Search for the Migration River Crossing – Sundowner + Private Dinner Under the Stars.

    These full day safaris are the best way to see the full range of what this magnificent park has to offer. Each excursion departs at around 6.30 am, with your 4×4 fully equipped to cross the Serengeti in search of game. The early mornings are relatively cool, but by midday it can become very hot indeed and sun-block lotion and hats are advised. Lunch is served under the shade of an Acacia tree as you take a break from scanning the horizons, and realize that all is well with the world.

    One of nature’s great occasions is the annual crossing of the Mara river by migrating wildebeest. Yet it is often in the lesser-known corners of the bush that we spot the highlights of your visit, such as a kill, amorous liaison, or lesser-known creature. A full day on safari gives you every chance of such unforgettable encounters. Return for sundowner and cocktails, campfire is ready for you, enjoy dinner and overnight at and Beyond Serengeti Under canvas Camp.

  • Day 10: Flight to Arusha – Farewell Lunch + Private Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for Departure.

    Breakfast, leave the camp and with an en-route game drive on the way to the airfield, please keep your eye open for any illusive animal or any number of cat family that may turn up after a successful night hunt along the river bank, transfer to Kogatende Airstrip in time for flight to Arusha Airport departs at 11: 00 AM, and arrive at 12: 15 PM. On arrival meet by your transfer guide and short drive to butler & scotch for a farewell delicious Lunch, today you have variety of vegetables, chicken, beef barbecue, brown rice, with local beers & wine to have more African touch.

    We will drive the short distance to Arusha town for the sightseen tour of the town including the Uhuru tochi monument the symbol of our Independent day 1961, half way between Cairo and Cape Town, the Arusha Clock tower is considered the Centre and the symbol of the town for few minutes and we proceed back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure flight. Allow 2 1⁄2 hours for flight check-in.
